On Friday, Alexi Coleman, Coleman’s wife, posted a touching homage to the Men in Trees star on Instagram. She posted a note on Instagram that her daughter Emmylou had written to Laffoon. Dear Anne, I pray for your speedy recovery,” it began.
Many, many hugs and kisses are on the way. Together, Emmylou and Ma” Alexi also wrote a description to the post detailing her feelings at Anne’s death. She expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love shown to her family in a letter. Through Homer, Anne and I bonded as mothers.
Alexi, Coleman’s wife, added, “She always empowered and encouraged me as Homer’s ‘other mum’, and she was happy to see our family grow throughout the years.” Having seen her unbridled affection for her sons was a profound blessing, and so was receiving Homer as a gift.
