Microsoft Prompts to make the Edge browser your default browser is getting absolutely ridiculous now. Well, if you are using the Microsoft operating system then we are sure that you already know about it. Well, it is really have been kind of bothersome from the very beginning, but now it seems to be getting even more of a bother.

Microsoft had apparently gone desperate, and they are now trying, even more prompts to make the user choose Edge as their default browser in place of the Google Chrome browser that had already been a preferred browser for people all over the world.

Microsoft prompts to switch to the Edge browser are starting to get ridiculous

A new user has found out that these prompts of the Microsoft operating system come up whenever a user is trying to download the chrome browser on their computer or laptop. Or even if they visit the Chrome download page, then and there, these pop-ups start to appear.

And we do not need to tell you how annoying any kind of pop-ups can be. The system is run in a way in which any kind of chrome query is going to induce several prompts to appear on your screen.

The most common one is that Edge is using the same technology as Chrome and with more security, so you should opt for that instead.

“Edge runs on the same technology as Chrome, with the added trust of Microsoft,” reads the message.

This is not the only one, though! There are several other prompts that had been given to pop up on your screen. As we have seen, the other prompt is: “That browser is so 2008! Do you know what’s new? Microsoft Edge.”

There is another one that we must mention here “‘I hate saving money,’ said no one ever. Microsoft Edge is the best browser for online shopping.”

Well, it seems to have irritated a lot of people. Lots of complaints have been made too. That is all that we have for now regarding this.
