Who is Derek in Grey’s Anatomy Series
Derek Patrick Dempsey plays Christopher Shepherd, M.D., F.A.C.S., aka “McDreamy,” a fictitious surgeon on Grey’s Anatomy on ABC. A Hard Day’s Night” premiered on March 27, 2005, and he appeared in the pilot episode.

Derek’s right eye gets blown out during surgery, and he knows he’s going to die at this point. He is ruled brain dead once the neurosurgeon arrives late.
