Cobra Kai Season 3 Release Date, Cast, Plot and More

Cobra Kai Season 3 Kai will arrive on Netflix on January 8th, 2021, as Netflix teased back in October.

Then, as we saw in the first complete season 3 trailer, something unusual happened: The 8 vanished and it became… “Coming in January.”

We finally have a new premiere date, and this time it’s even early! Because of Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), the third season of Cobra Kai will air on Friday, January 1.

As a result, we may all spend New Year’s Day on the couch, binge-watching TV, just as God and Sensei Lawrence intended.


Cobra Kai’s upcoming season will feature visits by two characters from the Karate Kid universe: Mr. Miyagi and Mr. Miyagi.

A Brief Description of The Cobra Kai Series

TV series Cobra Kai is a sequel to Robert Mark Kamen’s original Karate Kid flicks. Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg are the show’s creators.

Sony Pictures Television distributes the series. With Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who reprise their roles from The Karate Kid.

He also worked in its sequels The Karate Kid Part II (1986) as well as The Karate Kid Part III (1989), the picture is a continuation of the original trilogy (1989).

Cobra Kai, 34 years after the events of The Next Karate Kid, picks up where the original Karate Kid saga left off (1994).

“It works on a human level,” he remarked of the narrative. “Themes like bullying, fatherhood, single parenting, and mentorship are all present in the play.

“They all remain in our lives; they are all part of the coming of age, the adolescence and how you deal with barriers like bullying, and how you evolve as a person. ”

Debut of the Cobra Kai Series

The new season begins where the previous one left off, with Miguel in intensive care, Johnny no longer running Cobra Kai.

His remaining students joining Kreese’s side, and LaRusso’s dojo obsession driving his family away from the family home.

The third season is going to be a great one, but don’t expect it to end there, as Netflix has already ordered a fourth season.

Cobra Kai Season 3 Cast

As Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso from the first two Karate Kid films, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka reprise their roles, while Martin Kove returns as John Kreese, the Cobra Kai’s sensei.

The Cobra Kai cast has also added a number of new characters, including Xolo Mariduea (Parenthood).

Courtney Henggeler (The Big Bang Theory), Tanner Buchanan (Designated Survivor), Mary Mouser (Scandal), and Jacob Bertrand (The Walking Dead) (Marvin Marvin).

Writer and Producer of Cobra Kai Season 3

Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg write and produce Cobra Kai through their production business, Counterbalance Entertainment.

In conjunction with Sony Pictures Television, Overbrook Entertainment, and Susan Ekins, Will Smith, James Lassiter, and Caleb Pinkett serve as executive producers. Co-executive producers are Macchio and Zabka.

Cobra Kai Season 2 Ending Explained

Season 2 of Cobra Kai leaves the majority of its characters in a dismal state. We all knew Krese was the bad guy after he admitted to defrauding the Cobra Kai gym and its members.

Meanwhile, Johnny Lawrence’s top wrestler Miguel is in critical condition after a brawl at the high school went horribly wrong.

With being said, his fixation with the gym caused him to split from his wife and his daughter is currently in the hospital after the Cobra Kai/Miyagi-Do fight.

Cobra Kai season 3 teaser trailer, on the other hand, appears to indicate that Miguel has survived.
